7:00 AM - 9:00 AM    Camp Daybreak & Camp Sunset 2021-2022 - Waitlist-Camp Daybreak
Camp Daybreak & Camp Sunset are held Monday through Friday at the Wells Activity Center in both the kitchen and stage rooms.Transportation to school (Daybreak) will be provided by Ledgemere school buses. Transportation from school (Sunset) will be provided by Wells Parks & Recreation vans. During Camp Daybreak children will have a chance to play games, and get out some early energy before school starts. Several activities will be offered to engage the children. Children will also have the opportunity to finish homework or eat their breakfast.At Camp Sunset children will have a snack (provided by the Rec), and have time for homework. They will also have activities such as outside games, themed activities, STEM projects, Librarian visits, board games, arts & crafts and more.Schedule:Camp Daybreak & Camp Sunset will be held at the Wells Activity Center.Camp Daybreak: 7:00am-Bus pick upCamp Sunset: Van drop off-5:30pmClosed holidays:Indigenous People's Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving break, Christmas school break, Martin Luther King Jr Day, Presidents Day and Memorial Day. February & April School Vacation Camps are separate from Camp Daybreak/Camp Sunset.Snow/Inclement Weather Days:Camp Daybreak & Camp Sunset will be closed if the school closes due to inclement weather. In the event of a 2-hour delay, Camp Daybreak will begin at 9:00 am. In the event of an early release or after-school activities are canceled, Camp Sunset may close early-parents will be notified via text & email.  PRICING:There is a $35 administration fee required per child per school yearCamp Daybreak: $42 per weekCamp Sunset: $63 per weekCombo (Both): $100 per weekPayments are required to be paid prior to the week attending. Automatic payment plans are required unless other arrangements have been made. Auto-payments will be deducted on Sundays. A credit/debit card MUST be saved on file for Automatic payments. A two (2) week notice must be given if your child will no longer be participating in this program. NOTE: All activities for the 2021-2022 school year will be COVID modified as necessary and will adhere to all current CDC & State of Maine guidelines. This will include wearing masks when social distancing can not be maintained when recommended by the CDC & State of Maine.School Schedule Changes: This program is based on WOCSD's standard school calendar. If the WOCSD needs to change the school schedule to a Hybrid Schedule we will offer a SEPARATE program with SEPARATE registration. If the WOCSD needs to change the school schedule to FULLY remote learning, we will not offer a child care program. These introductory and intermediate leagues are for boys & girls. There will be separate teams for each gender as long as numbers allow. Participants learn, practice, and demonstrate the skills and concepts of basketball while gaining confidence. An emphasis is placed on skill development and teamwork at both levels.  All registered players will be placed on a teamJunior Teams (Grades 1-2): This division will play 4 v 4 games on the side courts at an 8.5’ hoop using a junior size ball; score is not kept. Coaches and referees will be on the court to help the players during the games and all children will receive equal playing time.Senior Basketball (Grades 3-4): This division will play 5 v 5 games on the full court using women’s size basketballs and shooting at regulation 10’ hoops; score will be kept but may be reset if lopsided games occur. Camp Daybreak & Camp Sunset are held Monday through Friday at the Wells Activity Center in both the kitchen and stage rooms.Transportation to school (Daybreak) will be provided by Ledgemere school buses. Transportation from school (Sunset) will be provided by Wells Parks & Recreation vans. During Camp Daybreak children will have a chance to play games, and get out some early energy before school starts. Several activities will be offered to engage the children. Children will also have the opportunity to finish homework or eat their breakfast.At Camp Sunset children will have a snack (provided by the Rec), and have time for homework. Camp Daybreak & Camp Sunset are held Monday through Friday at the Wells Activity Center in both the kitchen and stage rooms.Transportation to school (Daybreak) will be provided by Ledgemere school buses. Transportation from school (Sunset) will be provided by Wells Parks & Recreation vans. During Camp Daybreak children will have a chance to play games, and get out some early energy before school starts. Several activities will be offered to engage the children. Children will also have the opportunity to finish homework or eat their breakfast.At Camp Sunset children will have a snack (provided by the Rec), and have time for homework. Camp Daybreak & Camp Sunset are held Monday through Friday at the Wells Activity Center in both the kitchen and stage rooms.Transportation to school (Daybreak) will be provided by Ledgemere school buses. Camp Daybreak & Camp Sunset are held Monday through Friday at the Wells Activity Center in both the kitchen and stage rooms.Transportation to school (Daybreak) will be provided by Ledgemere school buses. Camp Daybreak & Camp Sunset are held Monday through Friday at the Wells Activity Center in both the kitchen and stage rooms.Transportation to school (Daybreak) will be provided by Ledgemere school buses. Transportation from school (Sunset) will be provided by Wells Parks & Recreation vans. During Camp Daybreak children will have a chance to play games, and get out some early energy before school starts. Several activities will be offered to engage the children. Children will also have the opportunity to finish homework or eat their breakfast.At Camp Sunset children will have a snack (provided by the Rec), and have time for homework. Camp Daybreak & Camp Sunset are held Monday through Friday at the Wells Activity Center in both the kitchen and stage rooms.Transportation to school (Daybreak) will be provided by Ledgemere school buses. Transportation from school (Sunset) will be provided by Wells Parks & Recreation vans. During Camp Daybreak children will have a chance to play games, and get out some early energy before school starts. Several activities will be offered to engage the children. Children will also have the opportunity to finish homework or eat their breakfast.At Camp Sunset children will have a snack (provided by the Rec), and have time for homework. They will also have activities such as outside games, themed activities, STEM projects, Librarian visits, board games, arts & crafts and more.Schedule:Camp Daybreak & Camp Sunset will be held at the Wells Activity Center.Camp Daybreak: 7:00am-Bus pick upCamp Sunset: Van drop off-5:30pmClosed holidays:Indigenous People's Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving break, Christmas school break, Martin Luther King Jr Day, Presidents Day and Memorial Day. Automatic payment plans are required unless other arrangements have been made. Auto-payments will be deducted on Sundays. A credit/debit card MUST be saved on file for Automatic payments. A two (2) week notice must be given if your child will no longer be participating in this program. NOTE: All activities for the 2021-2022 school year will be COVID modified as necessary and will adhere to all current CDC & State of Maine guidelines. This will include wearing masks when social distancing can not be maintained when recommended by the CDC & State of Maine.School Schedule Changes: This program is based on WOCSD's standard school calendar. If the WOCSD needs to change the school schedule to a Hybrid Schedule we will offer a SEPARATE program with SEPARATE registration. If the WOCSD needs to change the school schedule to FULLY remote learning, we will not offer a child care program.
