Camp Daybreak & Camp Sunset 2021-2022
Camp Daybreak & Camp Sunset are held Monday through Friday at the Wells Activity Center in both the kitchen and stage rooms.Transportation to school (Daybreak) and from school (Sunset) will be provided by Ledgemere school buses.
During Camp Daybreak children will have a chance to finish any homework, and get out some early energy before school starts. Several activities will be offered to engage the children. Children will also have the opportunity to finish homework or eat their breakfast.
At Camp Sunset children will have a snack (provided by the Rec), and have time for homework. They will also have activities such as outside games, themed activities, STEM projects, Librarian visits, board games, arts & crafts and more.
Camp Daybreak & Camp Sunset will be held at the Wells Activity Center.
Camp Daybreak: 7:00am-Bus pick up
Camp Sunset: Bus drop off-5:30pm
Indigenous People's Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving break, Christmas school break, Martin Luther King Jr Day, Presidents Day and Memorial Day. February & April School Vacation Camps are separate from Camp Daybreak/Camp Sunset.
Snow/Inclement Weather Days:
Camp Daybreak & Camp Sunset will be closed if the school closes due to inclement weather. In the event of a 2-hour delay, Camp Daybreak will begin at 9:30 am. In the event of an early release or after-school activities are canceled, Camp Sunset may close early-parents will be notified via text & email.
There is a $35 administration fee required per child per school year
Camp Daybreak: $42 per week
Camp Sunset: $63 per week
Combo (Both): $100 per week
Payments are required to be paid prior to the week attending. Automatic payment plans are required unless other arrangements have been made. Auto-payments will be deducted on Sundays. A credit/debit card MUST be saved on file for Automatic payments.
A two (2) week notice must be given if your child will no longer be participating in this program.
NOTE: All activities for the 2021-2022 school year will be COVID modified as necessary and will adhere to all current CDC & State of Maine guidelines. This will include wearing masks when social distancing can not be maintained when recommended by the CDC & State of Maine.
School Schedule Changes: This program is based on WOCSD's standard school calendar. If the WOCSD needs to change the school schedule to a Hybrid Schedule we will offer a SEPARATE program with SEPARATE registration. If the WOCSD needs to change the school schedule to FULLY remote learning, we will not offer a child care program.
